What you do:

The Senior Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to our Senior Leadership Group (SLG) and staff to help fulfill the division's strategic plans for the enterprise. You will operate with a customer service mindset while partnering with various employees and display grace and confidence under pressure. You will provide administrative support to the VP of Reinsurance and other Actuarial senior leaders.

  • You will manage the administrative operations for the department. Ensure leader's time is aligned with their priorities through demonstrated understanding of the core business and by leveraging strategic prioritization strategies. This includes maintaining calendars, scheduling appointments and meetings, and coordinating travel arrangements and accommodations
  • You will draft and edit correspondence, reports, and other documents to ensure communication within the department and with internal partners
  • Manage files, records, and documents including processing and tracking expenses and invoices, which may include handling confidential information, displaying professional discretion and trust with leadership
  • Support department meetings, events and special projects, including order catering and supplies, compiling presentations, creating learning links and surveys
  • You may be responsible for mentoring junior administrative assistants
  • Utilization of artificial intelligence tools and resources (e.g. generative AI)

What you bring:

  • 4+ years' experience required
  • Two-year degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring immigration sponsorship now or in the future. This includes holders of H-1B, H4, L-1, L-2, TN, OPT, CPT, and other nonimmigrant visas
