Job Description: Project Manager - Sales


Overall Objectives of Job

The Project Manager - Sales (PMS) is responsible for overseeing the commercial aspects of service delivery, ensuring that services are delivered efficiently and effectively to meet client expectations. This role involves managing relationships with key stakeholders, optimizing service delivery processes, and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations. The PMS plays a crucial role in driving customer satisfaction and achieving business objectives.

The PMS supports financial and administrative functions by managing budgets, conducting financial analysis, and ensuring adherence to quality management processes and accounting principles. The role involves providing administrative support to the finance department, using SAP Finance and ServiceNow to streamline processes and improve data accuracy. Effective stakeholder management requires clear communication and collaboration across departments. The PMS needs strong skills in budget management, financial analysis, and administrative support, with proficiency in accounting principles and experience in SAP Finance and ServiceNow to drive quality management initiatives.

Allocated with the charge of conducting day-to-day operations in a specified functional section of the organization to ensure that SOPs are in place as well as:

  • Analyzing costs, variables, pricing of products and results to measure financial performance
  • Comparing actual performance against benchmarks to identify gaps
  • Providing financial advice to fill identified gaps
  • Reviewing the contracts for various services with different providers for the financial impact.

Qualification & Experience

  • Graduation/PostGraduation in any discipline
  • Proven experience in commercial service management or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of contract management and negotiation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Experience in managing relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Basic knowledge of AI technologies, principles, and their practical use.
  • Knowledge and experience in Finance management and contract management for Programs
  • Minimum 10 years of experience with Allianz Projects handling similar role

Functional

  • Manage the commercial aspects of service delivery, including contract management and negotiation.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure service excellence.
  • Monitor service delivery performance and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of service delivery with business objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and industry regulations.
  • Analyze service delivery data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Lead initiatives to optimize service delivery processes and reduce costs.
  • Collect data related to costs, variables, pricing, sales results, accounts receivables & payables to maintain proper documentation of records
  • Analyze findings and convert them into financial advice regarding investment, overall management & budget allocation
  • Oversee operations of financial department to ensure compliance with company & industry standards
  • Conduct performance reviews, track KPIs and budget planning to improve financial performance
  • Design & implement systems and protocols to track the activities of each department towards the fulfilment of prescribed goals
  • Coordinate with all departments to guarantee uniformity in practice
