About the role
- Successfully lead end-to-end business initiatives by collaborating with key stakeholders across various functions, including Digital, Marketing, Product, Finance, IT, Compliance, and Claims.
- Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for the portfolio, driving strategies to achieve new business acquisition and customer retention goals.
- Support the development and execution of financial plans for Consumer distribution teams, focusing on key success measures like growth rates, retention rates, and product/geographical mix in partnership with Consumer CoEs.
- Develop and execute customer contact and segmentation strategies with CoEs, ensuring campaigns deliver maximum business value.
- Collaborate with Technical and C&I teams on pricing strategies, monitor competitor activities, and coordinate business process improvements to enhance new business growth and retention.
About you
- Extensive knowledge of broker landscape is advantageous. Demonstrated experience in product owner role and agile methodologies within general insurance is highly desired.
- Proven ability to build strong professional relationships with senior stakeholders, influence outcomes, and communicate effectively with clarity and impact at all levels.
- Demonstrated success in leading and delivering projects within constraints, sustaining outcomes, and effectively managing and resolving conflicts in line with organizational processes.
- Experience in developing and implementing internal controls, governance policies, and procedures aligned with regulatory requirements, while driving continuous improvement initiatives for ongoing compliance.
- Possess tertiary qualifications in a relevant field, industry accreditations, and a comprehensive understanding of regulatory and legislative compliance requirements impacting the organization.
- A passion for leveraging emerging technologies to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
