What you do
- Perform end-to-end credit risk analysis and underwriting activities, ensuring consistent and high-quality risk decisions within agreed service levels and business guidelines;
- Assess and manage complex credit limit requests, buyer reassessments, grading activities and portfolio monitoring tasks with a high level of autonomy, across both Credit Underwriting and Credit Assessment processes;
- Apply strong financial analysis skills to evaluate company performance, management strategy, sector evolution, market positioning and risk exposure using both quantitative and qualitative information;
- Take ownership of hybrid workflows by combining underwriting expertise with advanced assessment capabilities in order to ensure a consistent client impact and harmonized risk approach;
- Collaborate closely with Policy Management, Claims, Collections, Sales and other business units to ensure efficient risk management and customer servicing;
- Provide guidance, coaching and knowledge sharing within the team, supporting cross-training and hybrid setup initiatives and operational best practices;
- Participate in process improvement, automation and optimization initiatives related to portfolio management, grading, workflow allocation and productivity enhancement.
What you bring
- High-level assessment expertise, including strong financial statement interpretation, grading logic understanding and analytical decision-making capabilities;
- Ability to manage hybrid end-to-end risk activities with a strong understanding of both underwriting principles and assessment methodologies;
- Advanced analytical thinking and ability to take decisions in complex or sensitive situations with limited supervision in a dynamic operational environment;
- Strong business and commercial awareness combined with sound risk judgment;
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills;
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure, manage high volumes and prioritize activities effectively;
- Strong collaboration mindset with the ability to work independently while supporting team objectives;
- Exposure to underwriting activities would be considered an advantage and can facilitate a smoother onboarding into the role.
- Very good knowledge of MS Office tools, especially Excel;
- English advanced level required; German is a plus;
- Interest in process optimization, digitalization and automation initiatives.
