About the Job:

The IT Service Continuity Manager ensures that critical IT services remain available or are rapidly restored during and after disruptive events. In this role, you will lead and govern disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity (BC) documentation and testing, drive process improvements, and coordinate across global ITSCM communities and stakeholders. You will provide expert guidance to service owners and engineering teams to align practices with standards and regulatory requirements, while strengthening resilience across applications, infrastructure, and cloud environments.

What You Do:

  • Guide IT Service Managers in creating and updating IT Disaster Recovery Plans (DRP), DR test post-exercise reports, Business Continuity Plans (BCP), and related documentation.
  • Ensure documentation is complete, consistent, up to date, and meets required standards and quality levels.
  • Maintain all documents in the designated repositories and ensure proper version control.
  • Trigger required tests; assist in execution and ensure thorough documentation of outcomes.
  • Contribute to IT DR capability and process enhancements; participate in global ITSCM communities and best-practice sharing.
  • Interface with global ITSCM functions, related processes, and ITSCM representatives across customer and retained IT organizations.
  • Guide correct recording of ITSCM-relevant aspects in the CMDB and other internal tools.
  • Support internal and external audits on ITSCM topics.

What You Bring:

  • Several years’ experience in ITSM and/or IT operations, with strong understanding of disaster recovery, major incident and crisis management, and Business Impact Analysis (BIA).
  • Excellent knowledge of resiliency concepts across web, cloud, and IT infrastructure; solid grasp of interactions between applications, networks, and infrastructure (knowledge of Allianz IT landscape is a plus).
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and standards (e.g., BSI, DORA, ISO 22301/20000/27001; ISO/IEC 27301 for ITSCM is a strong plus).
  • Proven documentation rigor, ensuring standard compliance, quality, and repository maintenance; experience contributing to projects and process improvements.
  • High assertiveness and persistence; quick comprehension of complex systems; cooperative and constructive team player; able to handle conflicts and criticism.
  • Business-fluent German and English (written and spoken); occasional travel readiness is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Basic knowledge of AI technologies, principles, and their practical use.
