Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst (m/f/d)
About the Job
We are looking for a talented and motivated Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the financial planning process, performance analysis, and providing insights that support local leadership decision-making.
This role offers exposure to strategic topics, including scenario analysis, profitability and investments, with interaction across different areas of the organization and, when applicable, collaboration with the global finance team.
What you do
- Support local leadership in building financial scenarios and analyzing growth alternatives, provide structured analyses to support decision-making, gradually develop financial recommendations and collaborate with the global finance team on planning-related topics, when applicable.
- Aid the analysis and development of pricing models, considering cost structure and margins, analyze profitability by client, contract and service type and contribute to understanding key business financial drivers
- Assist the development of business cases and economic feasibility analyses, assess return on investments and financial impact of initiatives as well as contributing to the prioritization of projects and strategic initiatives.
- Interact with operational and commercial teams to understand revenue and costs, provide financial support for operational and commercial decisions and ensure a smooth collaboration with local stakeholders and, when necessary, global teams.
- Support budget, forecast, long-term planning processes, develop and maintain financial models and analyze variances between actual and planned results to identify root causes and propose improvements.
- Manage accruals and support accounting processes. Maintain and review cost centers, organize and control intercompany financial transactions. Perform reconciliations and alignments with clients whilst also executing manual billing. Assist in contract management with help from the legal team.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and group guidelines, support the implementation and improvement of financial processes as well as participating in continuous improvement initiatives.
What you bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related fields. Proactivity and interest in business topics. MBA or postgraduate degree in business, finance, or strategy-related fields would be a plus.
- Previous experience in FP&A, controlling, or related areas, experience or exposure to pricing or profitability analysis. Experience with financial performance indicators.
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact with different stakeholders, fluency in English, with the ability to operate in an international corporate environment.
- Participation in business case development or investment analysis and involvement in planning processes or financial scenario building.
- Previous interaction with business areas to support decision-making, strong analytical skills, structured thinking, problem-solving orientation and the ability to transform data into actionable insights.
- Nice to have: Experience in technology services companies or consulting (technology or strategy); knowledge of service-based business models and experience with ERP systems.
- Familiarity with AI technologies, GenAI platforms and their practical use is a strong advantage.
