You will join the Allianz Cyber Defense Center (ACDC), a global team operating 24/7 to protect Allianz’s systems, employees, and customer data from evolving cyber threats. In this role, you will act as a key link between security operations, governance teams, and business stakeholders, ensuring that our incident response processes and controls meet the highest regulatory and compliance standards.

As a Compliance & Audit Specialist, you will play a central role in shaping and maintaining audit-ready processes, supporting critical regulatory initiatives such as DORA, and continuously improving how security compliance is embedded across the organization.

What you do

  • Define and manage audit processes end-to-end, including structured evidence gathering, documentation, and preparation of audit-ready materials

  • Support internal and external audit activities targeting the global security incident process and ensure timely delivery of audit evidence

  • Oversee implementation of security controls in collaboration with the IS Governance function and create actionable compliance plans

  • Identify opportunities for controls automation and continuous monitoring

  • Support the development and continuous improvement of the global security incident response process

  • Contribute by the implementation of regulatory requirements (e.g., DORA)

  • Act as liaison between the ACDC, local/global IT, other InfoSec functions, IS Governance function and third parties

  • Support in the compliance process for third party providers

  • Collaborate with the Allianz Group-wide IT and Information Security community

  • Consult on local Information Security assurance reviews (logging concepts, security playbooks, etc.)

What you bring

  • +5 years of experience in compliance, audit, governance and information security

  • Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration in combination with IT or equivalent

  • Knowledge of enterprise security control frameworks, IT incident management, and strategic incident response design

  • Thorough understanding of the European regulatory environment applicable to financial institutions (DORA, GDPR, NIS2, etc.)

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

  • Ability to work independently in an international, multi-location team with global stakeholders

  • Professional curiosity, high degree of professionalism, problem-solving and a proactive mindset with out-of-the box thinking

  • Strong ability to interact with both technical colleagues and non-technical staff in exceptional situations to ensure correct actions are taken and communication partners collaborate
