According to the Allianz Risk Barometer, Cyber Risk has consistently ranked as one of the most significant global risks for several years. The primary threats encompass ransomware, malware, social engineering attacks, threats to data integrity and availability, disinformation and misinformation, as well as supply chain attacks.

The Allianz SE Capability Expert Information Security is part of Allianz SE IS Function headed by Allianz SE Chief Information Security Officer (CISO).

How can you make an impact?

The responsibilities of the Allianz SE Capability Expert Information Security are based on seven capabilities:
Strategy & Reporting, Policy Management, Steering, IS Risk Management, Project Portfolio Management, Independent Control Assurance, Awareness & Training

The focus of the position lies on the implementation of multiple Cybersecurity measures across these Capabilities.

• Ensure compliance to GISF (Group Information Security Framework) and local regulatory requirements for Allianz SE, organize and steer local security processes.
• Manage the requirements of Information Security for both, IT and non-IT Areas e.g. in the areas of Project Portfolio Management, Data Leakage/Loss Prevention, Pentest Management, Vulnerability Management, …
• Close collaboration within local Digital Resilience Functions (e.g., IT, P&R), Group Information Security and other Allianz Entities
• Ensure regular communication on current threats and topics of interest across multiple channels (AZ Connect, Viva Engage, MS Teams, ...)
• Foster Human Firewall, e.g., manage mandatory Trainings for employees of Allianz SE, develop and execute onsite events on campus Schwabing, especially for Cyber Month in October

What are you made of?

Minimum Qualifications

• Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Communications or related field is required
• Professional certifications as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
• Fundamental understanding of all Information Security Capabilities to identify interconnections and foster Information Security Awareness and activities in each business area in line with the global goals and objectives
• Understanding of Cybersecurity principles and practices and familiarity with Social Engineering tactics and methods
• Navigating through complex enterprise environment with internal and extern service providers both from Governance and Operational view
• Ability to engage and motivate individuals to adopt security best practices
• Strong communication and presentation skills as well as excellent collaboration capabilities and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of international standards and best practices (ISO27001, ITIL, COBIT) and regulatory environment
• High level of reliability, dedication and commitment
• Excellent communication and collaboration capabilities as well as interpersonal skills
• Experiences in managing projects with multiple stakeholder
• Efficient time management skills, flexibility and ability to effectively manage various priorities
• Ability to establish relationships across all business and functional areas and to identify the Inforamtion Security Requirements and relevant Security Awareness activities applicable to each business area in line with the goals and objectives of the organization
• Previous experience in insurance or asset management business functions, consulting, digital / tech is a plus
• Experience applying ChatGPT, Generative AI, and Ethical AI solution
