About the Job

As a Principal DevOps Engineer at Allianz Technology Thailand, you will play a critical role in enhancing the efficiency, reliability, and security of our Lead Routing Application, a backend platform that powers high-volume lead distribution.

You will design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration and rapid, reliable deployments. Your expertise will be essential in establishing best-in-class observability, SRE practices, and release readiness. You will also leverage AI technologies to automate and optimize DevOps workflows, reduce toil, and accelerate recovery while mentoring engineers and driving continuous improvement

What you do

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for the Lead Routing Application (backend), ensuring seamless integration and rapid, reliable deployments.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline the SDLC; standardize branching, versioning, and release practices.
• Own monitoring, alerting, and observability (dashboards, SLOs, incident runbooks); implement synthetic and transaction monitoring for critical flows.
• Implement security and compliance controls (secrets management, least privilege, supply chain security) and enforce pre/post-deployment checklists.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform/Ansible; manage Kubernetes, Helm, and environment parity across stages. Utilize AI-driven tools and methodologies (e.g., copilots, AIOps) to enhance automation, anomaly detection, test generation, and decision-making.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across development, testing, and production; lead incident response, root-cause analysis, and postmortems.
• Stay current with emerging technologies; continuously improve DevOps practices; mentor junior DevOps engineers and uplift engineering standards.

What you bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience as a DevOps/SRE engineer, with strong CI/CD, release management, and deployment automation in production.
• Cloud expertise (AWS/Azure/GCP) with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes); solid Git workflows and environment management.
• Infrastructure as Code and config management (Terraform, Ansible); experience designing resilient on-call and incident processes.
• Strong background in monitoring and observability (dashboards, alerting, synthetic/transaction monitoring) and SRE practices.
• Excellent problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills; familiarity with Agile/Scrum and tools like Jira and Confluence; experience integrating AI to enhance DevOps workflows.
• Familiarity with Machine learning is a strong advantage.
