Executive/Senior Executive, AI & Automation Analyst
Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Job Summary
We are looking for an AI & Automation Analyst to design, build and deliver automation solutions that improve efficiency across our business. You will identify manual, repetitive processes, and automate them using RPA, low-code workflows and AI. Where solutions are best delivered with external partners, you will also help scope and manage vendors in partnership with the business. This is a hands-on power-user role, hence strong process sense and practical tool skills matter more than a heavy coding background.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse business processes and identify automation opportunities to improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into practical solutions.
- Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain automation solutions which include using scripts (e.g. Python) and low-code tools such as RPA and others.
- Monitor, troubleshoot and optimise live automations to keep them running reliably.
- Create and maintain clear documentation, process flows and user guides.
- Deliver AI-powered and agentic solutions, either hands-on or by scoping and working with vendors to build and implement them in partnership with the business. Identify, evaluate and manage external partners/service providers where solutions are best delivered externally, ensuring quality, timelines and successful adoption.
- Ensure solutions comply with governance, security and quality standards.
- Research emerging AI and automation technologies and propose ideas to scale delivery.
Key Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Experience in building automations using Python, no-code/low-code tools (fresh graduates with strong project/internship experience welcome).
- Practical understanding of robotic process automation (RPA) and agentic process automation (APA), plus a working grasp of AI tools as a power user (LLM, GenAI tools).
- Strong process analysis, problem-solving and attention to detail.
- Good communication and stakeholder skills; able to work with both business users and vendors.
- A curious, self-driven mindset with the drive to keep learning as the technology evolves
