About the Job

Within the COE Enabler Operations, the Provider Manager organizes, implements, and steers the operational relationship with suppliers, with the objective of maximizing the value delivered by these providers for the client business tribes and ecosystems.

In this role, you are responsible for ensuring compliance with supplier commitments and with demand management processes. You support the tribes and client business teams in optimizing their collaboration with suppliers to deliver projects and maintain applications, while guaranteeing service quality.

The Provider Manager takes into account the evolving needs of the tribes and business teams to adapt external delivery models, with a focus on economic efficiency and maximizing value creation. You will act as a key partner to Tribe Leaders in monitoring outsourced services, and to Scrum Masters in supporting agile ways of working with suppliers, within the framework of the established contractual agreements.

What you do

  • Contribute to the selection of the SaaS vendor/publisher in case of sourcing changes (market analysis, offer benchmarking, analysis of licensing models and SLAs), define the expected service offering (business requirements, functional scope, SLRs, SLAs, performance and security conditions) in coordination with the OE and internal stakeholders, and ensure that changes impacting the service contract are properly taken into account (functional changes, usage evolution, scaling needs, pricing changes).
  • Lead the transition/onboarding phase with the vendor and ensure the setup of a steady-state operating model (operational processes, support models, incident management, reporting, governance), and manage the execution of SaaS services in compliance with contractual commitments, SLAs, and economic, technical and functional performance levels.
  • Analyze usage, performance, availability and security indicators, provide continuous improvement recommendations, anticipate, prevent and manage operational and cybersecurity risks, handle escalations with the vendor, and ensure the supplier implements corrective and evolutionary actions (patches, releases, product roadmap).
  • Ensure service continuity, resilience and the provider's ability to meet business continuity and disaster recovery requirements (RTO, RPO, fallback plans), manage demand and consumption (licenses, modules, storage, API usage, environments), provide the inputs required for the SaaS capacity planning developed by the vendor (usage forecasts, volumes, seasonality, business roadmap), and review and validate billing elements (units of work, volumes, licensing models, consumption).
  • Guarantee smooth exit and reversibility processes: data export, environment handover, continuity of use, compliance, and ensure that compliance controls performed by the vendor are properly managed (security, GDPR, certifications, audits).
  • Prepare and facilitate SaaS governance forums (steering committees, execution committees, performance reviews), ensure cross-functional coordination, reporting and communication with tribes, squads and IT entities, and promote the SaaS client-supplier relationship model among internal stakeholders.
  • Share best practices for SaaS consumption and management (license optimization, governance, usage control) and drive adoption of efficient SaaS operating standards across the organization.

What you bring

  • Proven experience (5+ years) in managing external suppliers, ideally in a SaaS environment, with strong leadership in a scaled agile context and the ability to negotiate, challenge vendors, and make structuring decisions.
  • Assertiveness, sound judgment, and the ability to manage complex situations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong team‑oriented mindset. Proficient in English (vendor interactions, contracts, governance).
  • Analytical mindset, strong synthesis skills, and the ability to promote a holistic vision. Adaptability, ability to step back, provide meaning, and support change management.
  • Experience in the IT applications space within the insurance sector is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Agile / Scrum practices. Awareness of SaaS‑specific challenges: Service Level Management (SLM), vendor governance, license management, and cloud security.
  • Tools: JIRA / CONFLUENCE, Office Suite, Excel at an advanced level.
  • Familiarity with AI technologies and GenAI platforms is a strong advantage.

What we offer

  • We offer a hybrid work model which recognizes the value of striking a balance between in-person collaboration and remote working incl. up to 25 days per year working from abroad.
  • We believe in rewarding performance and our compensation and benefits package includes a company bonus scheme, pension, employee shares program and multiple employee discounts (details vary by location).
