We are currently looking for an Intern Global Banks (f/m/d) to join our Global Banks distribution team! The position will be based in our Frankfurt office for a period of at least 6 months.

With Global Banks distribution being a strategic growth area, Allianz Global Investors has established a dedicated team responsible for steering and developing partnerships with global banking clients. As an Intern within the team, you will support key account management activities, contribute to strategic initiatives, and gain valuable exposure to international client relationship management and business development activities.

What you do

• Participate in and support key account management activities to ensure smooth operations and client satisfaction
• Design and produce internal presentations for cross-border collaboration as well as external pitch books and client reviews
• Handle day-to-day requests in close collaboration with team members and other functions
• Manage client relationships actively by preparing for meetings, tracking interactions, and supporting communication efforts
• Assist the team head and key account managers in strategic planning and execution
• Contribute to market research and competitive analysis to inform business decisions.

What you bring

• Ongoing education in capital markets, economics, or business administration
• Previous internship or work experience, ideally in investment management, banking, or consulting
• Proficiency in English with strong communication skills; German and/or French is a plus
• Ability to work effectively in an international environment and collaborate across departments
• Enthusiasm to learn, contribute, and adapt to dynamic tasks
• High degree of reliability, analytical mindset, and excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to use Microsoft Copilot, with a strong commitment to ethical and responsible AI practices.
