Join us now as an Intern in Taiwan within our Quantitative Investment Team. You're expected to work part-time 3-4 days/week for up to 12 months. You’ll support portfolio managers and analysts by developing, testing, and improving AI models and agents, while contributing to investment research, data analysis, and model evaluation. This role offers hands-on experience in financial markets, investment processes, and AI applications in asset management.

What you do

  • Assist portfolio managers and analysts in applying AI models and agents to investment research, data analysis, and portfolio workflows.
  • Support the development, training, testing, and evaluation of AI models and agents, including prompt design, workflow development, and output validation.
  • Evaluate emerging AI tools and technologies and identify potential applications in investment research and asset management.
  • Collect, organize, and analyze financial, market, industry, and company data.
  • Help develop and improve AI-enabled research tools and automated workflows to enhance efficiency and analytical capabilities.
  • Conduct market, industry, and company research using AI to extract, summarize, and analyze relevant information.
  • Support data preparation, model testing, performance evaluation, and quality control for AI-related projects.
  • Collaborate with portfolio managers and analysts on investment research, quantitative analysis, and AI initiatives.
  • Perform ad hoc investment research, AI development, data analysis, and related assignments.

What you bring

Required

  • Final-year bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD student in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Data Science, AI, Engineering, Statistics, or Mathematics or related program.
  • Available 3–4 days per week for up to 12 months.
  • Strong interest in AI, financial markets, and investment management.
  • Familiarity with AI tools and basic programming or data analysis, preferably Python.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and fluent in English and Chinese.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and collaboratively.

Preferred

  • Experience with AI/ML, Large Language Models (LLMs), AI agents, prompt engineering, Python, or AI workflow development.
  • Basic understanding of financial markets and investment concepts.
  • Familiarity with Bloomberg, FactSet, or similar financial data platforms.
  • Experience with research projects involving AI, machine learning, financial data, or quantitative analysis
