AWS Clean Rooms is an analytics service that helps customers and their partners more easily and securely analyze their combined datasets — without sharing or revealing underlying data with each other. AWS Clean Rooms is at the intersection of cloud analytics, privacy, and security. AWS Clean Rooms' provides a broad set of data controls that help protect sensitive data, including query controls, query output restrictions, query logging, cryptographic computing tools, and built-in differential privacy techniques.

We are looking for a Principal Technical Product Manager with experience defining and building secure, scalable analytics solutions that delight customers. This is an opportunity to define the future of safe data collaborations and build innovative experiences for customers. This individual will play a key role in the growth of AWS Clean Rooms and will be responsible for owning and delivering key functionality for AWS Clean Rooms. This is a highly visible position that will interact with multiple organizations within AWS as well as executive team on a regular basis.

As the Principal Product Manager - Technical for AWS Clean Rooms, you will be at the core of shaping the technical landscape for privacy-safe data collaborations. You will drive both the product strategy and proposals for new functionality that will help us address customer needs. Ideal candidates have an entrepreneurial spirit, experience delivering technical products end to end, understanding of the analytics and machine learning landscape, and are passionate about improving the state of data collaborations.

This position can be located in NY or Seattle.

Key job responsibilities
• Drive product vision and roadmap for new integrated experiences and expansion of addressable use cases within AWS Clean Rooms.
• Understand what customers need, and also keep a firm pulse on where the industry is trending.
• Author PR/FAQs, and propose rapid experiments to prove out hypotheses
• Partner with teams across AWS Analytics, AWS Machine Learning etc. to bring new products and features to market.
• Conduct business and financial analysis for new product functionality including public pricing recommendations.
• Serve as a key influencer in developing and auditing business strategy, contributing significantly to the overall AWS Clean Rooms strategy, customer engagement and analytics, and financial planning.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams (Engineering, UX, research, etc.) across AWS Clean Rooms and partner teams to deliver projects on time.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 7+ years of working as a Technical Product Manager experience
- 5+ years of technical (software development, network development, IT, other related) experience
- Experience delivering large-scale SaaS, PaaS or LaaS products where you are responsible for the full product lifecycle, from concept through GTM (go to market)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience building and shipping B2B Machine Learning based platforms
- Direct experience working on products that offer Privacy Enhancing technologies

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $144,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $281,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
