Note: Autodesk Revit Cloud Worksharing team is hiring multiple levels of seniority from Junior to Principal DevOps.

Position Overview

As a member of an agile team of smart and highly motivated DevOps engineers, you’ll build and maintain cloud solutions that support the ability for our customers to collaborate all over the world at any time. Within the fast-paced growth of the Cloud, you will find frequent opportunities for sharing, learning, and growing together as part of One Autodesk. You’ll work with cloud technologies in a dynamic, flexible, and fast-paced environment to support the availability of critical business services and infrastructure operating at scale.

Responsibilities

• Safely and consistently deliver new value to Autodesk customers

• Support business non-negotiables such as security and compliance

• Implement, refine and monitor for the health of services for Revit Cloud Worksharing

• Improve the efficiency and sustainability of operating services at scale across multiple regions

• Solve complex problems through careful design and planning, minimizing disruption to our customers

• Brainstorm on technology decisions that will support future business objectives

• Collaborate with service engineers around infrastructure choices to support new functionality

• Continuously learn and grow through knowledge sharing activities

• Actively seek the ideas of others to improve decision quality

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience guiding teams through the design and implementation of infrastructure systems and using data to evaluate success

• Experience documenting best practices and providing constructive feedback on the work on your peer's work

• Experience in leading a team by accepting individual working styles and supporting team cohesion through mature and direct feedback

• Experience collaborating with team leadership to ensure that we’re aligned and focused on the right priorities

• Experience in applying automation to improve the sustainability, efficiency, and reliability of processes

• Experience using IaC tools such as Terraform or Cloudformation to maintain services and their infrastructure

• Experience using tools such as New Relic, Splunk, and Grafana to improve service health, insight, and recovery time

• Experience using containerization tools such as Docker and AWS/ECS and have experience with scripting languages including bash, Python, and Powershell

Preferred Qualifications

• Enthusiastic and dedicated approach to responding to outages with urgency to uphold customers’ trust in our products

• Develop and use every failure as an opportunity to learn and guide your team to embrace change with a sense of curiosity, partnering in continuous improvement processes such as retrospectives and blameless post-mortems
