Position Overview
We’re growing our Service Platforms and Experience team within Autodesk’s Infrastructure and Cloud Engineering organization. As part the team you will play a strategic role in designing, building and continually improving company-wide cloud and service management platforms critical to maintaining world-class developer experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain API-first service architectures supporting business objectives

• Instrument and follow industry best-practices for creating highly available and resilient services

• Apply data driven approaches supporting metrics for resources across public clouds, offering actionable intelligence to right-size and scale services efficiently

• Identify and facilitate opportunities to optimize, reduce cost, and realize reusable designs and patterns that can be used across the company

• Collaborate with key organizational stakeholders to determine cloud service strategy and improvements

• Build and maintain systems helping developers manage foundational aspects of the service lifecycle

Minimum Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related quantitative field

• 8+ years of professional experience developing scalable, distributed applications

• Self-starter who can perform as part of a distributed and cross-organization team

• Strong experience in object-oriented programming with languages like javascript, typescript, node.js,

• Experience designing and building APIs using micro service architectures, GraphQL

• Experience working with containers and server less technology

• Strong experience with building cloud-based API platforms or backend systems

• Strong knowledge of AWS, databases, and cloud architectures

• Strong experience and understanding of working within Agile frameworks

• Strong problem-solving skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• 5-8 years experience with software and application development, business analyst experience, or data engineering

• Familiarity with various database technologies (NoSQL, SQL) and data interchange formats (XML, JSON)

• AWS certification

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
