Position Overview

At Autodesk Construction Solutions, we seek an experienced engineer to join us to develop web-targeting libraries and state-of-the-art support infrastructure to build our world-class web applications.

Responsibilities

• As Sr. Software Engineer, you’ll be Involved with all aspects of web software development with a focus on developing non-UI web libraries, implementing solutions to improve web application maintenance, and helping maintain existing web applications.

• Partner with other teams, software architects, and team members to build and release pipelines.

• Contribute to improvements and automation of processes that increase the efficiency of other teams.

• Deliver high-quality code by following best practices like peer code reviews and coding standards.

• Document and present your ideas and solutions thoroughly.

Minimum Qualifications

• B.S. or higher degree in computer science or related field

• In-depth understanding of concepts and processes to support building, releasing, and maintaining web applications (familiar with JavaScript/ Typescript/ React or MobX)

• 3+ years of solid hands-on experience in state-of-the-art tooling, scripting, and programming languages used to set up and run build and release pipelines (Working with Webpack, Jenkins, Spinnaker, or Groovy)

• Experience with source code management using GIT

• Experience with frontend testing frameworks like Jest, Cypress

• Experience with Amazon Web Services or other cloud infrastructure technologies

• Experience with Relational Database Management Systems like PostgresDB and MySqlDB

• Experience with NoSql Database Management Systems like AWS DynamoDB, AWS S3 and MongoDB

• Familiar with REST API development and cloud-native concepts

• You will work in a global team and collaborate with local and remote colleagues from multiple disciplines like software architecture, business, engineering, and operations.

• You will work with the latest technologies in a flexible environment.
