Position Overview

The Autodesk Construction Solutions group is looking for a Frontend Development Engineer reporting to the Software Development Manager. You and your team will design full-stack web, mobile, and cloud applications. As an experienced web programmer, you will lead the design and implementation of features that integrate with our embedded web viewer. You will collaborate with other viewer experts inside and outside the team and contribute to the viewer platform. As a Frontend Developer within the Autodesk Construction Solutions organization, you will create visually stunning and functional user interfaces for our web applications. You will work with our design and backend development teams to turn design concepts into responsive, interactive, and user-friendly web experiences. Your role will ensure that our products exceed our clients' and users' expectations.

Location: Germany

Responsibilities

• Maintain responsive, cross-browser-compatible web applications

• Collaborate with the design team to implement intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces

• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code

• Increase web applications for maximum speed and scalability

• Debug and troubleshoot issues to ensure smooth user experiences

• Collaborate with the backend development team to integrate frontend and backend components

• Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or Information Systems

• 3+ years of experience as a Frontend Developer

• 3+ years of experience with popular frontend frameworks and libraries such as React, Vue.js, or Angular

• Experience with RESTful APIs and web services

• Experience with 3D Computer Graphics programming

• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)

• Familiarity with agile development methodologies

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with UI/UX design principles

• Knowledge of web performance optimization techniques
