Position Overview

As the Senior Director, Product Security, you will be reporting to our VP, Chief Trust Officer and will be at the forefront of this work, guiding our secure development practices and application security across all products and services. This role is about more than managing risks; it's about fostering trust for all. You'll be pivotal in this journey to safeguard our digital assets and products, with your leadership fortifying the trust our customers and stakeholders have in Autodesk.

You will be working remotely, hybrid, or in person with a preference for someone living in the San Francisco Bay Area. Travel, both domestic with some international, will be approximately 15%.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a diverse team responsible for ensuring the security of our products and platform

  • Provide strategic direction to Product and Platform Trust functions including security architecture, pen testing, SDL and threat modelling, configuration management and hardening, vulnerability management, PSIRT/bug bounty, and trust engineering

  • Be a driving force in our effort to evolve our Internal Trust Dashboard, which reflects the Security, Privacy, Availability and Recoverability posture across Autodesk products and services

  • Engage and collaborate with leaders and teams across infrastructure, engineering, operations, product development and legal to integrate trust and security principles throughout the product lifecycle

  • Stay abreast of cutting-edge technologies and approaches that can lead to enhancements in our Product and Platform Trust capabilities

  • Cultivate and oversee a talent ecosystem that champions continuous evolution, innovation, and inclusivity, with teams operating in multiple global regions

Minimum Qualifications

  • 13+ years of experience in the cybersecurity field

  • Demonstrated expertise and track record in leading product security, application security, and/or secure software development lifecycle (SDL)

  • Experience in both initiating and effectively managing a bug bounty program, leveraging the global community to enhance our security posture

  • A history of inspiring, growing, and retaining a team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous learning

  • Exceptional communication skills, adept at liaising with a broad set of stakeholders, and promoting a culture of security throughout the organization

  • A track record of collaboration with industry peers, coupled with a reputation for contributing thought leadership in the security arena

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $204,000 and $330,000. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
