Position Overview

Autodesk’s BuildingConnected provides a platform to manage the bidding process, identify and collaborate with best bidders and maintain a network at scale. Bid Board gives subcontractors in the commercial construction industry (e.g., painters, plumbers, electricians, etc.) a quick and efficient way to manage invitations to bid from general contractors. We help our customers manage millions of bidding opportunities every month, through an easy-to-use, modern web application.

We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer who likes working in Node.js and React, enjoys helping other team members grow, and has a focus on customer experience. This is a great opportunity to join a small, friendly and diverse team and make a big impact on a product that is an important part of the construction workflow! This position is remote in the Canada.

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop new features

• Document architectural decisions and code design specifications

• Focus on quality, including writing unit/integration tests and refactoring

• Break apart complex initiatives into manageable chunks

• Work within a small, agile team, following a sprint methodology

• Collaborate with designers and product managers to improve the product, with a focus on the end user’s experience

• Empathetically help other developers grow

• Participate in the interview process

• Provide on-call support and serve as a triage point for issues with the application

• Develop high-quality code

• Break down technical problems into smaller chunks

• Experience with agile processes within a team

• 4+ years of experience working as a software engineer

• Our Tech stack : Although not required, experience with any of the following technologies we use daily: React / Redux, Node, MongoDB

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on discretionary annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock or long-term incentive cash grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
