We are looking for a highly motivated and hands-on QA Automation Manager. You will be responsible for the team that plans, develops, executes, and maintains Desktop and Cloud based automation test strategies with the objective of early detection of defects that impact customers, to ensure product goals are met, and our customers receive exceptional functionality and services.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the team of Automation Engineers responsible for creating and running Desktop and Cloud test automations

  • Work with your team to help understand requirements, evaluate new requests, and help drive decisions

  • Cultivate a high-performance culture by mentoring team members and providing them with the necessary tools and motivation to get things done

  • Create plans, track and ensure tactical execution and adherence to budgets, schedules, plans, and performance Be responsible for the team's technical strategy, roadmap and success metrics

  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members

  • Foster regularly communicate and collaborate across offices and time zones and across various functions including engineers, Product Owners, Product Managers, Software Architects / Tech Leads, and key stakeholders within other organizations

  • Establish team goals that connect to the wider organization goals, and monitor progress against them

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s or equivalent degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent ​

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in QA Automation or Software Engineering with at least 3 years of experience in a managerial role leading tech leads and senior software engineers ​​

  • Strong proficiency (5+ years) in automation testing tools, technologies, frameworks and methodologies, with experience in C++/C#, Java, or/and Python​

  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins​

  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code and configuration-as-code​

  • Knowledge of containerization framework​s such as Docker and Kubernetes is a plus

  • Proven track record in team management, including inspiring, motivating, and coaching team members with creativity, innovation, and efficiency

  • Hands-on experience in project management​

  • Excellent communication and coordination skills
