Position Overview

We are looking for a highly motivated and hands-on SWD/Engineering Manager to join our AEC Design Platform team. In this position, you are expected to lead the team to provide excellent and world-class services and engineering infrastructure to support AEC Design products like AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D development, from build, continuous integration and deployment, to delivery.

Responsibilities

• Manage cross functional teams of Developers, Testers and DevOps Engineers for delivering engineering service, features and functionality

• Work with your team to help understand requirements, evaluate new features, new architecture and help drive decisions

• Build and foster a high-performance culture, mentor team members and provide your team with the tools and motivation to get things done

• Create plans, track and ensure tactical execution and adherence to budgets, schedules, plans, and performance

• Be responsible for the team's technical strategy, roadmap and success metrics

• Regularly communicate and collaborate across offices and time zones and across various functions including engineers, Product Owners, Product Managers, Software Architects / Tech Leads, and key stakeholders within other organizations

• Establish team goals that connect to the wider organization goals, and monitor progress against them

Minimum Qualifications

• 10+ years of software development experience

• 5+ years in managing SWD/Engineering teams

• BS or MS in Computer Science or related technical field

• Experience with key technologies and tools such as C++, Python, Node.js, React, etc

• Experience designing and developing desktop/web/cloud applications

• Experience deploying production applications with Amazon Web Services or/and Delivery Technologies

• Experience with Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, DevOps, etc

• Experience with Scrum and agile development processes and methodologies

• Excellent communication, presentation and influencing skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Cross-platform development experience with Windows, Mac and Linux will be a bonus
