Autodesk is looking for a Senior Manager, Software Development to join (dEX) Digital employee experience team within the Enterprise Systems & Experience IT organization. This team builds and delivers employee experience products partnering with internal organizations such as HR, IT, Procurement and Legal. and delivers capabilities with a vision to create world-class digital experiences for all Autodeskers

Responsibilities

  • You will manage & lead multiple teams of software leadership, engineers, providing both technical and managerial leadership across people, processes, and technology.
  • Empower to design, develop, deliver, and operate AI-enabled full-stack, high-value, cloud-based applications, and experiences
  • You will inspire and motivate the teams by aligning towards DEX (Digital Employee Experience) vision, apply transformation recognizing development progress and continuous improvement
  • Participate and guide strategic technical design discussions across teams
  • Partner with stakeholders in planning, execution and management of resources, roadmap, and releases
  • Maintain strategic relationships with important partners to help your team succeed
  • Participate in planning, resourcing, execution with teams
  • Foster engineering excellence and a collaborative culture
  • Keep team unified to the our goals
  • Improve team processes and validate scope estimations
  • Collaborate with management and executives to build data-informed business strategy for the team
  • Mentor and help engineers to plan and build their career paths
  • Set and fulfil the engineering hiring plan for the team, including sourcing, screening, and interviewing
  • Maintain high quality, performance and availability of services managed
  • Build healthy inclusive teams promoting diversity

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor or master's in computer science or related field
  • 12+ yrs of experience in software development
  • 5+ years' experience building and leading engineering teams
  • Accountable with a understanding of scaled Agile development practices, tooling, and a broad knowledge of full software development lifecycle
  • Enthusiasm for technologies, complex problems, and building things
  • Knowledge and solid experience with web technology stacks, public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), Serverless architectures, APIs, and AI models.
  • Solid Experience working with product management to agree on goals and risks
  • Humble, collaborative, team player and support your colleagues
  • Experience in natural language processing, chatbot AI and delivering employee facing conversational experiences
