Responsibilities: Plan, initiate, and manage information technology (IT) projects. Lead and guide the work of technical staff. Serve as liaison between business and technical aspects of projects. Plan project stages and assess business implications for each stage. Monitor progress to assure deadlines, standards, and cost targets are met. Engage with stakeholders in various groups to understand larger strategic objectives, lead ideation sessions to identify opportunities for the eCommerce team. Own, prioritize, and maintain the Product Backlog, including the definition of epics, user stories, acceptance criteria. Collaborate with a cross-functional team of designers, developers, testers, and others to develop and execute against Product Roadmaps and Release Plans. Continuously and transparently, communicate with internal stakeholders the prioritization of the Product Backlog and the status of development efforts via Product Demos, Release Plans, and other means. Break down epic-level user stories into detail-level stories consumable and testable by a scrum team. Define, prioritize, and drive the realization of specific product vision. Act as the subject-matter expert for assigned products. Work with Engineers to help direct, motivate, and guide them to delivery high quality product. Own the vision and roadmap for capabilities needed for the e-commerce platform from concept through execution and delivery. Develop and manage relationships with architecture, engineering, and product teams. Lead the team to deliver the roadmap through agile sprint cycles, breaking down the product roadmap into executable stories and requirements. Communicate progress through continuous product roadmap updates to internal stakeholders and customers. Manage the integration of new services and technology into the platform with the aim of becoming a world class e-commerce platform that will drive innovation and broad adoption of key capabilities. Define success metrics and consistently measure the impact of the work. Maintain customer/stakeholder relationships in a deeply cross functional and matrixed set up. Serve as the solution expert when dealing with thought leaders and key partners. Influence and actively participate in go-to-market plans of key capabilities and features. Must be available to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States. Telecommuting is permitted.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field and five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in a IT analyst -related occupation. Must be available to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States. Telecommuting is permitted.

Special Requirements:

Position requires at least four (4) of experience in each of the following skills:

  • Utilize principles of Software Engineering and Digital Software system design fundamentals to analyze, gather, define, clarify and refine requirements for software products.

  • Utilize Agile methodologies such as scrum framework to manage and prioritize the work for the project team.

  • Utilize Story estimation and mapping techniques to break down the business requirement into implementation tasks for the project

  • Utilize knowledge of web content management tools such as adobe AEM 6.5 to understand and define requirements for web development for e-commerce websites and web pages.

  • Utilize driving product roadmap and work with cross-functional teams to implement the prioritized software product features.

  • Utilize Atlassian JIRA to create user-stories with functional requirements, implementation details, and manage work for the project team

  • Utilize software agile mythologies and techniques learnt as a certified product owner to manage the product vision and bring value by prioritizing meaning-full features and updates on the software products.

  • Utilize knowledge of software programming languages object oriented, JAVA, C++ etc. to manage the integration of new services and technology into the platform.

  • Utilize JIRA to perform defect management and tracking.

  • Utilize software testing life cycle principles to perform integration user acceptance testing and verify the software features that help deliver quality software products.

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $157,600 - $210,000 / year. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
