Position Overview

Autodesk is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our Infrastructure & Cloud Engineering (ICE) department within the Enterprise Systems & Experience organization. We are looking for motivated individuals who take pride in providing prompt and high-quality support to our internal product development teams by maintaining and developing serverless cloud DevOps platforms, assisting them in developing high quality products through automated processes. You will work with other teams including IT, Operations and Product Engineering, in maintaining internal DevOps platform of Autodesk products. Further, you will also work with project management, product development, quality assurance and documentation teams thus providing an excellent opportunity to be involved in different aspects of product development. You will report to Engineering Manager. This Job workplace type will be Hybrid and Job base location is Bangalore.

Responsibilities

• Engage with internal clients to understand their product build process and consumption.

• Build and Maintain Build Distribution system serving across multi Cloud and Data Center locations

• Develop new features for Global build distribution system

• Manage platform infrastructure in AWS, Azure and Data Center

• Provide Autodesk product teams support with Global Build Distribution

• Maintain documentation and diagrams outlining automated solutions and build architecture

Minimum Qualifications

• Masters/bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering or equivalent with excellent academic background

• Minimum 5- 8 years of relevant work experience in large-scale software development

• Technical hands-on experience in managing software build environments that support multiple ongoing development efforts

• Continuous integration/deploymenttools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, AWS DevOps suite)

• Source Code Management tools (GitHub, )

• Strong scripting languages such as Groovy, Bash, PowerShell and Python

• Experienced with AWS and Azure cloud

• A variety of computing environments; Windows, Mac OSX and Linux

• Hands on with IAC (Terraform, CloudFormation)

• Project & collaboration Management Systems (JIRA, Confluence Wiki)

• Work with containers and Pods (Docker and Kubernetes)

• Experience with monitoring and BI tools like Grafana, Cribl, Cloud Watch

• Familiar with software engineering practices, AGILE, DevOps methodologies

• Authoring pipelines and everything-as-code

• Experience with production serverless cloud applications.
