Roles & Responsibilities
Collaborate & Innovate: Work closely with talented and professional colleagues in Scrum teams to design, develop, and maintain core backend components
Deliver Quality Code: Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, following best practices and established guidelines
Transform Ideas into Solutions: Analyze project requirements and translate them into technical designs and functional features
Test & Optimize: Test, debug, and optimize applications to ensure top performance, stability, and scalability
Engage with Stakeholders: Partner with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and team members to deliver solutions that meet business and customer needs
Continuous Improvement: Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and documentation efforts. Maintain and enhance existing software by troubleshooting and implementing improvements
Stay Ahead: Keep up with emerging technologies, frameworks, and industry trends
Champion Quality: Contribute to test automation and quality assurance processes
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
2+ years of hands-on experience with commercial cloud services and application development
Strong knowledge of Java, object-oriented design, and frameworks like Spring and Jersey
Practical experience with unit and automation testing tools (e.g., JUnit, Cucumber, JMeter)
Proven track record developing RESTful web services using Java, Spring, Spring Boot, or Jersey
Experience with relational or NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, DynamoDB)
Familiarity with build and CI/CD tools (Ant, Gradle, Docker, Jenkins)
Proficiency with Git or similar version control systems
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Willingness to collaborate with colleagues across different time zones
