Job Description

Join our team to enhance and develop new features for automated job posting in the Jobfeed department. In this role, you will collaborate with a diverse team to explore new frameworks and enhance your analytical skills while working in a complex business area for our enterprise customers. We value different perspectives and encourage everyone to contribute their ideas. Job injection process was recently rebuilt by using Event Driven Architecture to meet requirements and ensure scalability for future enhancements.

In the background, we are developing a new Feed and API system to unify all of Stepstones programmatic businesses into a single-entry point. By joining our team, you will be playing a vital role as together we reimagine the labour market to make it work for everybody.

Your responsibilities:

Implement featured for new job processing flow

Integrate Job Feed with other component in Job Publication ecosystem

Evaluate and provide solutions for extracting and normalizing feed data.

Migrate legacy implementations to the new system.

Develop unit and integration tests while managing monitoring, security, dependencies, and platform modernization.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams on global normalization of the Job Model.

Moderate technical discussions within the team and create technical stories.

Maintain technical standards and quality during code reviews.

Qualifications

Your skills and qualifications:

Knowledge about architecture design patterns
Strong knowledge about coding principles (SOLID, DRY, KISS, GRASP, Clean Code)

Knowledge about CI/CD

Knowledge about DDD and TDD

Experience designing Microservice architecture

Experience working with Apache Kafka

Experience working with public cloud services (preferred AWS)

Strong knowledge about Java (17+) running in containerized environment.

Strong knowledge about Spring frameworks

Strong knowledge about Test Pyramid (Unit, Component, Integration, E2E)

Experience with SQL (we use PostgreSQL compatible AuroraDB)

Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (ideally Terraform)

Critical thinking / challenging status Quo

Experience in coaching team members
