We are looking for a People Business Partner (x/f/m) to join our People & Culture team on a fixed-term contract. You will report directly to the Co-Head of People & Culture and work closely with an experienced Business Partner team.

In this role, you will support several business areas, including members of the Executive Team, on all relevant people topics. From leadership questions to workforce planning and organizational changes, you will help our leaders make well-informed, strategic decisions and move their teams forward.

Please note: This role is offering a fixed-term contract starting in summer 2026, currently anticipated to continue until October 2027.

    Your responsibilities:

    • Act as a strategic sparring partner for designated business areas, translating business needs into effective company-wide People strategies

    • Understand your business units well enough to identify patterns, risks and opportunities and turn those insights into concrete actions

      About the role

      We look for a passionate senior backend engineer with strong experience in designing, developing , and scaling backend systems that power our products. You will be taking the ownership of the backend components of your domain team and work closely with product managers and font-ends engineers to ship high quality features to our end users.

      📚 You'll drive the migration from the old to the new architecture. New services will be built in Node.js, but familiarity with Java (Spring Boot) is required since existing services are Java-based. 😊

      As a senior backend developer in our cross functional team you will ensure our components are performing as expected and adhering to industry standards such as scalability, maintainability, and security. In particular, you will be:

      ● Having the end-to-end ownership of backend services, operating with autonomy and proactively addressing technical challenges.

      ● Playing an active role in the development of high-traffic, real-time, geo-located online applications and surrounding ecosystems.

      ● Designing and implementing REST APIs on our AWS infrastructure, making use of AWS services for new components.

      ● Exploring technologies like AWS, PostgreSQL, ElasticSearch, Rest API,

      Qualifications

      ● Strong experience building backend (for frontend) applications.

      Strong experience in Node.js

      ● Experience in Spring Boot and Java 21+

      ● Strong experience with hosting on AWS and making use of AWS’s services.

      ● Experience with agentic tools (e.g., LLM agents, AI copilots and Claude Code).

      ● Hands-on experience with inter-service communication, fault-tolerant distributed systems, distributed caching mechanisms, and microservice architectures.

      ● Proficient with Docker and Kubernetes.

      ● Familiar with CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms (preferably AWS) is highly desirable.

      ● Experience with PostgreSQL and Elasticsearch.

      ● Very good communication skills and express your ideas.

      ● First experiences in an agile software development team.

      ● You work independently, responsibly, accurately and reliably.

      ● Team player, but ambitious at the same time.

      ● Bachelor or a master's degree in computer science or similar qualifications.

      ● Fluent in both spoken and written English. German is not required.

      ● Eager to learn new technologies and interested in cloud architecture.

        We are looking for a People Business Partner (x/f/m) to join our People & Culture team as a parental leave cover. You will report directly to the Co-Head of People & Culture and work closely with an experienced Business Partner team.

        In this role, you will support several business areas, including members of the Executive Team, on all relevant people topics. From leadership questions to workforce planning and organizational changes, you will help our leaders make well-informed, strategic decisions and move their teams forward.

        Please note: This role is a parental leave cover offering a fixed-term contract from summer 2026 until July 2027.

        Your responsibilities:

        • Act as a strategic sparring partner for designated business areas, translating business needs into effective company-wide People strategies

        • Understand your business units well enough to identify patterns, risks and opportunities and turn those insights into concrete actions

        • Work closely with our Works Council and negotiate framework agreements (Betriebsvereinbarungen) where needed

        • Drive and implement People initiatives in areas such as leadership development, performance, and culture

        • Support change processes and help teams navigate growth, restructuring or integration, for example, in the context of acquisitions

        • Ensure that we apply our People standards consistently while staying pragmatic and business-oriented

        Als Teamlead (f/m/x) Client Strategy verantwortest Du die strategische und inhaltliche Exzellenz aller vertriebsunterstützenden Argumentationen, Präsentationen und Vermarktungsunterlagen.         Your Role

        You will own the product area within our Client Facing Platforms, building internal tools and solutions that help Bonial deliver value to our retail partners at scale. Your team focuses on internal tools covering contract fulfillment management, client's campaign management and tracking. You will work closely with engineers, designers, data analysts and operations teams, and report directly to the Head of Product.

        • Own and drive the product roadmap and vision for your area, making clear prioritisation calls including what not to build

        • Run continuous discovery Clients and internal users to deeply understand workflows, pain points and needs

        • Lead the full product lifecycle from problem framing and scoping through to shipping, measuring outcomes and iterating

        • Define success metrics and track the performance of your products

        • Align diverse stakeholders across Business Operations, Sales, Engineering teams and Data

        As an Operations Portfolio Manager (f/m/x) in Central Operations, your job is to bring structure and transparency to cross-functional requests and Business Operations initiatives. In a fast-moving environment you consolidate incoming topics, avoid duplication, make priorities and dependencies visible, and maintain the single source of truth (decisions, product specifications, documentation).         We are looking for a People Business Partner (x/f/m) to join our People & Culture team on a fixed-term contract. You will report directly to the Co-Head of People & Culture and work closely with an experienced Business Partner team.

        In this role, you will support several business areas, including members of the Executive Team, on all relevant people topics. From leadership questions to workforce planning and organizational changes, you will help our leaders make well-informed, strategic decisions and move their teams forward.

        Please note: This role is offering a fixed-term contract starting in summer 2026, currently anticipated to continue until October 2027.

          Your responsibilities:

          • Act as a strategic sparring partner for designated business areas, translating business needs into effective company-wide People strategies

          • Understand your business units well enough to identify patterns, risks and opportunities and turn those insights into concrete actions

          • Work closely with our Works Council and negotiate framework agreements (Betriebsvereinbarungen) where needed

          • Drive and implement People initiatives in areas such as leadership development, performance, and culture

          • Support change processes and help teams navigate growth, restructuring or integration, for example, in the context of acquisitions

          • Ensure that we apply our People standards consistently while staying pragmatic and business-oriented

          Job requirements

          Your profile:

          • Several years of experience as an HR / People Business Partner or in a comparable role with strategic exposure

          • Solid knowledge of German labor law and confidence in working with it in practice

          • Experience leading and implementing People projects from concept to rollout

          • You think analytically and make informed decisions. Curiosity about HR tech and innovative tools is a plus

          • You understand how the different areas of People work connect and can balance business needs with cultural impact

          • You communicate clearly, work well with different stakeholders, and are comfortable in sometimes challenging discussions

          • Business fluent in German and English
