Professional software engineering experience (3 + years) with at least 1+ years hands-on building LLM-centric systems or related generative AI applications.
Knowledge of LLM workflows, RAG design, embeddings, vector databases, prompt strategies, and multi-agent patterns - including how to integrate LLMs securely with external systems (auth/OAuth2, token refresh, MCP, tool/function calling).
Familiarity with cloud engineering fundamentals (AWS preferred) - infrastructure-as-code, containerization, CI/CD, networking, and monitoring - and an appreciation for security best practices (IAM, secrets management, least privilege, secure API design).
Experience with model evaluation, selection, performance optimization, and cost-effective deployment across cloud or hybrid environments.
Proficiency in Python (core), and familiarity with at least one modern engineering stack (e.g., FastAPI, Node.js/TypeScript, React) - with bias toward backend, pipelines, and automation logic over UI.
High personal agency - you stay on top of the latest GenAI research and tooling, contribute to team knowledge, and push for pragmatic outcomes with a bias for action.
