Objectives:
- To be part of a highly motivated and agile global team that develops innovative digital solutions for marketing and sales within the Global Automotive OEM Coatings business (G-ECO/MD). The transformation into a data driven business unit requires our data to be readily available and consumable in an automated way.
Main Tasks:
- Design and develop data pipelines and integrations between different data sources and systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process optimization and automation within the organization.
- Follow data governance strategies to maintain data integrity, security, and compliance standards
- Develop data models, schemas, and structures to support efficient data storage and retrieval
- Utilize base knowledge of Coatings processes to understand and address specific data requirements and challenges within this domain
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, understand business needs, and translate them into technical solutions
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, ensuring high availability and performance of data systems
- Stay updated with emerging trends, best practices, and technologies in data integration, process optimization, and Coatings global processes
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Technology related subjects
- At least 3 years in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business technology or related fields
- Experience in data management and process optimization
- Basic knowledge of SAP systems
- Experience in designing and implementing data pipelines, data integrations, and ETL processes
- Base knowledge of coatings processes and understanding of related data requirements and challenges
- Proficiency in SQL databases, data warehousing, and cloud-based data processing technologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- High willingness to learn and achieve excellence in the field of data
