Senior DevOps Engineer SAP SD (Order-To-Cash) (103680)

Working Model: Hybrid (2 days in office)

Location: Mississauga, ON

Where the Chemistry Happens…

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer (Order-To-Cash) like you to create, deliver and run digital applications for users managing sales & distribution activities in the movement of goods between BASF divisions and end-customers. Working agilely, you will enable functionality of core systems & processes. You will partner and consult with stakeholders to innovate solutions proactively across multiple technology platforms to anticipate future needs.

As part of our team you will especially foresee to support the migration from an SAP R/3 ERP to SAP S/4 HANA and a Multi-ERP Approach of BASF.

Formula for Success: You Will…

• Support the team of Order Management in their transition from a single SAP R/3 system to multiple SAP S/4 HANA systems.
• Technical design application enhancements and new applications for BASF Order to Cash processes.
• Develop applications by using state-of-the-art programming methods and ensuring compliance with all relevant BASF guidelines for development.
• Manage complex development environments using both internal and external resources.
• Ensure runnable, supportable and stable solutions from a technical point of view together with operations.
• Contribute to planning and provide cost estimations for complex projects.
• Support creation of (functional) Solution Design Documents.
• Support testing and error correction activities.

Ingredients for Success: What We Look for in You…

• Successfully completed studies in computer science, business informatics or a comparable qualification.
• Minimum 4 years related working experience with complex SAP applications.
• Excellent ABAP / ABAP OO and ABAP for Cloud Development skills.
• Experience with SAP S/4 HANA.
• Expertise in API development and management.
• Knowledge of SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP), SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI), SAP output technologies like Adobe Forms, SAP Build Process Automation.
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including website/server interactions with OData and SOAP endpoints.
• Functional knowledge of processes in SAP SD / Order-To-Cash.
• Excellent spoken and written English
• Agile mindset, self-organized way of working.
