Color Platform is supporting Coatings divisions business units in digitalization and transformation. Our mission is to provide innovative and high-quality color software solutions to drive the digitalization of our businesses and customers in the automotive industry.

Responsibilities and Key Outcomes

Our Color Platform unit develops modern software solutions to drive the digitization of our services for our customers in the automotive industry.

In your role as a DevOps Engineer, you will focus on CI/CD and ensure that the technologies used (OpenShift/Kubernetes, Azure Cloud, CI/CD, Jenkins, Git, and more) contribute to the development and operation of infrastructure and applications in a modern and future-proof manner.

• Modernization and improvement of our operational platforms with the latest technologies
• Further development of our build and deployment processes, our DevOps strategy, and the expansion of CI/CD.
• Expansion of automation in the operations area.
• Consolidation and further development of our monitoring and logging systems
• Performing regular operational tasks and supporting development teams in troubleshooting.

Job Requirements

Education and work experience

Degree in Computer Science, informatics, business informatics or in a comparable field.

Technical & Professional Knowledge (mandatory)

• Experience in agile way of software development and methodology.
• Experience in containerization technologies and knowledge of build and deployment tools (Jenkins, Maven).
• Experience in Continuous Integration & Continuous Delivery, application monitoring, and the Software Development Lifecycle (particularly Operations).
• Monitoring and log management are part of your experience, just like CI/CD. Your basic knowledge of Linux/Unix and scripting languages helps you work efficiently.
