RESPONSIBILITIES

Within our global unit Digital Farming you will be responsible as senior software testing engineer for the validation of designs and requirements, defect verification, functional testing, building test scripts and scenarios for automation testing, participating in and carrying out agile procedures in Software Development lifecycle.

• As a senior software testing engineer, you are responsible for analyzing and testing designs and requirements, participating in all phases of the product development life cycle, and creating and executing test scenarios both manually and with automation tools.
• You enhance existing automation testing frameworks, examine and improve existing test scripts and scenarios, and work closely with other teams within the organization.
• Additionally, you are responsible for integration testing, creating new test documentation and update the extisting test cases.
• Ensuring pre-release verification, release support, and deployment management is also part of your new role.
• Finally, you take over the responsibility of building and updating the QA strategy, QA approach, and test model.

QUALIFICATIONS

• successful completed university degree in computer science, natural science, engineering, mathematics, GIS or a related field of study
• several years of professional job experience as QA/test engineer ideally in scalable cloud infrastructures in production deployments
• solid understanding and knowledge of software development life-cycles and agile methodologies as well as test automation and testing tools
• experienced in working in Linux and Windows server environments, TestRail and other TTS
• fluent communication skills in English, German or a second foreign language is a plus
