Responsibilities and Key Outcomes

1. Closely collaborating with the product manager and implementation lead in the respective regions / markets to understand business needs and help to shape the overall product vision and roadmap.
2. Refine business requirements into technical requirements / concepts that can be immediately worked on by the development / delivery team. This includes preparing the necessary documentation (i.e. epics, features, user stories) that is enriched with meaningful content to be worked on by development team.
3. Define and prioritize product backlogs, refine it and work closely with the Agility master in ensuring the planning of scope for each sprint is at optimum and overall delivery is met based on timelines set.
4. Have a good grasp of the overall software architecture and how the systems are integrated with one another in order to ensure smooth end-to-end integration.
5. Responsible for release and quality management to ensure each release meets the aligned goals / objectives of end users and the necessary testing practices and activities are performed to deliver high quality solutions.
6. Lead and coordinate post-production support plans / processes and this includes prioritization of requirements, managing bug fixes, incident analysis and customer support requests.

Job Requirements - Technical & Professional Knowledge (mandatory)

• Must have technical knowledge and understanding of software development lifecycle / processes
• Experience in Agile ways of working or agile implementation approach
• Comfortable working in a multinational / culturally diverse environment
• Able to lead teams in a matrix organization

Technical & Professional Knowledge (additional plus/nice to have skills)

• Familiar with SAP / ERP systems
• Knowledge in delivering B2B digital solutions
• Have knowledge in Angular/ Ionic tech stacks

Education and work experience

• Degree in Computer Science, informatics, business informatics or in a comparable field
• Minimum 5 years as a product owner in software development
• Minimum 3 years in a leadership role
