Objectives of the Position

Our “Plant Maintenance Solutions” team is providing innovative solutions to the BASF Plants globally. As a SAP Cloud Developer with focus on Mobile Maintenance you will lead the overall architecture, design, development, testing and deployment of solutions, which we will continuously develop over the coming years.

• Is experienced working in an Agile environment and can design solutions for yourself or your team

Main Job Responsibilities

• Execute activities along the entire product lifecycle of Business Technology Platform (BTP) applications: conduct requirement analysis, design, develop, test, monitor and execute support activities
• Govern and configurate the underlying BTP Services

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or relevant disciplines

Working Experience

• The successful candidate must have more than 5 years’ working experience, with at least 1-2 years’ experience Cloud- and/or Mobile-based development area

Technical Experience

• Comprehensive development skills for creating cloud applications in the SAP BTP and have knowledge of SAP Cloud Application Programming Model, Business Application Studio and SAP Mobile Development Kit
• Profound experience in planning and developing REST and/or ODATA-based microservices
• Practical knowledge and experience with Continuous Integration and - Deployment (e.g., git, Azure DevOps Repository, SAP CI/CD Service, SAP Transport Management Service, etc.).

Technical Experience (Nice to Have)

• Experience in SAP Maintenance Solutions e.g. the SAP Service and Asset Manager (SSAM) and/or SAP Field Service Manager will be valued.
• Good/Common understanding of ABAP, the RAP Framework and CPI Integration will be of advantage
