Global Digital Services (GD) is supporting BASF business in Digitalization transformation. Our mission is to drive forward the digital transformation of BASF, providing innovative, global and high-quality digital products and services through a strong agile culture.

Part of the GD strategy, BASF Shared Services Center Kuala Lumpur (BSSCKL) is one of the established Digital Hub for APAC region.

Formular to Success

• Demonstrating your proficiency in the SAP Modules ‘Project and Portfolio Management (PPM)’ and or ‘Project System (PS)’ you will develop, test and support our S4HANA PPM 2022 system
• Your main tasks will be problem / error solving, debugging and testing of SAP PPM standard functions (code and configuration), custom WDA/FPM Application, custom program, custom Odata and ABAP CDS
• Your experience with newer technologies (e.g. SAP BTP, SAP RAP/CAP) will be an advantage for implementing innovative business solutions
• Excellent communication skills is essential as you will be embedded in our global team and in direct contact to our internal end users

Main Tasks

• You will also be responsible for ensuring the operation for the SAP S4 Hana System: Project and Portfolio Management

• As part of our agile development team, you will work on user stories, do the development and testing of new features

Requirements

Education

• Degree or significant work experience in Computer Science, informatics, business informatics or in a comparable field

Working Experience

• Total 4-5 years’ experience in SAP OO ABAP (OData and ABAP CDS), SAP WDA/FPM and/or newer technologies such as SAP BAS, SAP Fiori element and SAP Freestyle UI5
• Familiarity with technology like
  • SAP OO ABAP
  • SAP Web Dynpro/Floorplan Manager
  • ABAP Core data Services
  • Custom Odata
  • SAP Fiori Element and SAP Freestyle UI5
  • SAP BTP and SAP BAS
  • SAP Fiori Dashboard configuration
  • SAP Embedded analytic (good to have)
• Very good spoken and written English proficiency
• You communicate with openness
• Structured, independent and conscientious working style
• Experiencing Agile way of working or agile implementation approach
