Global Digital Services (GDS) is supporting BASF business in Digitalization transformation. Our MISSION is to drive forward the digital transformation of BASF, providing innovative, global and high-quality digital products and services through a strong agile culture.
Part of the GDS strategy, BASF Shared Services Center Kuala Lumpur (BSSCKL) is one of the established Digital Hub for APAC region.
The Plant Maintenance and Engineering Project Solutions Team, delivers and runs digital applications for internal users worldwide. Working agilely, we partner and consult with stakeholders to innovate solutions proactively across multiple technology platforms around SAP to anticipate future needs.
Main Tasks
- As part of an agile DevOps team, you will oversee the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from conceptualization to implementation and maintenance of our SAP Module Project System and its related Fiori Apps.
- You will assume project responsibility and execute pre-studies with prototyping to enable the Digital Transformation
- Driving change request through the whole release process including steering of external consultants will be part of your daily work.
Requirements
Education
- Degree in Computer Science, informatics, business informatics or in a comparable field
Working Experience
- Minimum 6 years related working experience with complex SAP applications.
Technical Experience (Mandatory)
- Excellent skills in developing SAP Fiori Apps (Fiori Elements and SAP Freestyle UI5)
- Strong understanding of integration scenarios with OData and SOAP endpoints, Integration via CPI and API development and management
- Strong ABAP for Cloud Development skills (e.g. SAP BTP, SAP RAP/CAP)
- Familiar with ABAP OO
- Working in an international environment, excellent English language skills
Technical Experience (Desired/ Nice to Have)
- Knowledge of SAP Web Dynpro/Floorplan Manager
- Experience with agile frameworks like Scrum or Kanban
- Functional knowledge of processes in SAP PS, ePPM or FI/CO
- SAP Embedded analytic
- ABAP Core data Services
