Objectives of the Position

Our newly established “Plant Maintenance Web Solutions” team will provide innovative Web and Mobile-based solutions to the BASF Verbund Plant in Zhanjiang, China with the intention of expanding this product on a global level. As the full stack developer within this dynamic and Agile-based team, you will participate and be an expert across front end, middleware and backend development tasks.

• Writes and reviews code in a clear and concise manner

• Excellent command of written and spoken English, as you will be embedded in our global team and in direct contact with our internal business users

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code using Angular, IONIC, NestJS.
• Build responsive and scalable web and mobile applications with modern front-end and back-end technologies.
• Implement user interfaces using Angular to enhance the overall user experience.
• Develop APIs and server-side logic using NestJS to support application functionality.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to create seamless, end-to-end solutions.
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues across the full stack.
• Ensure code quality and security through unit tests, integration tests, and code reviews.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Informatics, Business Informatics or a comparable field
• At least 5 years of working experience within a Web- and/or Mobile-based development area

Technical & Professional Knowledge (mandatory)

Frontend:

• Proficient in Angular (v15+) and Typescript.
• Experience with HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design frameworks.
• Familiarity with state management libraries (NgRx or similar).

Backend:

• Strong proficiency in NestJS and Node.js.
• Experience building RESTful APIs
• Knowledge of database technologies such as MongoDB.
• Experience with authentication and authorization mechanisms (OAuth…).

Other Skills:

• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with version control tools such as Git.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
