RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Digital Product Owner in BASF’s Agricultural Solutions department, you will serve as a strategic leader responsible for defining, communicating, and guiding the development of a user-centric product that aligns with business objectives and delivers clear value to our stakeholders. This role will specifically focus on Demand Management, ensuring that all new digital demands and existing digital products in our AP portfolio continue to meet current standards in enterprise architecture, security, and data protection.
- You take ownership of the product vision and the backlog while providing direction and guidance to the product team.
- You ensure the execution and alignment of the product roadmap.
- In addition, you manage the product scope, budget, quality, delivery timelines, and expectations.
- Moreover, you prioritize user stories, translate requirements into user stories with defined acceptance criteria, and oversee their completion.
- You plan user onboarding and training to ensure successful product adoption while continuously maximizing product value and measuring success with defined KPIs.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Master's degree in computer science, business administration, or a comparable education
- extensive experience in leading agile project and process management
- several years of professional experience in software development
- strong planning and coordination skills, as well as high customer orientation
- very good communication and presentation skills in English
