JOIN THE TEAM

As a full stack Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining web sites and web applications. You will work closely with cross functional teams including business stakeholders, business analyst, project managers and other developers to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality software products. Your job will require a strong experience on providing the best immersive digital experience for our customers with omni-channel delivery while ensuring good performance and aesthetic design.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Experience with implementing web applications in HTML, CSS and Angular FE technology
  • Develop and refine user flows, wireframes, and prototypes to effectively communicate design concepts and solutions for web and dashboard applications
  • Knowledge and experience with Java 8 for backend development
  • Collaborate with internal teams, stakeholders to produce high-fidelity designs, ensuring alignment with project goals
  • Conduct user research to deeply understand the needs and pain points of customers, particularly within the agriculture domain, incorporating insights into design decisions
  • Conduct usability testing to validate designs, iterating as needed to optimize user experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2-3 years of experience in UX/UI design and development, particularly with data visualization preferably in the agriculture industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, Interaction Design, Human Computer Interaction, or equivalent experience.
  • Portfolio showcasing redesign projects, emphasizing user-centered design and problem-solving in complex applications
  • Proficiency with Design Thinking, Agile, and design tools like Figma or Adobe Creative Suite. Experience with managing project tasks using Azure DevOps or similar tools
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, able to articulate design decisions and collaborate with cross-functional and external teams
  • Good understanding of UX/UI principles, BASF portal standards including accessibility standards and digital marketing
  • Prior BASF Ag experience (preferred) and a big plus
