Main responsibilities

• Control Product Design and Development (APQP) Process.
• Knowledgeable in ISO-9001, ISO-14001 IATF16949 system and core tools.
• Knowledgeable in Production Part Approval Process (PPAP).
• Develop new products, new designations of color and modify existing products, processes and methods to fulfil technical and customer’s requirements.
• Create APQP documentation for new color developments & verify the feasibility of new color for the pigmentation combination.
• Implement optimization measures to the responsible products and lab test to verify the new techniques, methods etc.
• Solves problems, examine root causes of encountered problems.
• Create work instruction new testing method.
• Responsible for raw material qualification and handle 2W ASEAN RMs portfolio.
• Be responsible for laboratory Management.
• Be responsible for customer complaint & understand non-conforming product & process procedure.
• Be responsible for controlling measuring and testing equipment.
• Support activities of product which include developing formula for product improvement.
• Support manufacturing operations in standardizing manufacturing methods.

Responsible Care and EHS:

• Maintain safe working environment and operate safely for support work safety and efficient production activities according to plant safety regulations, Company EHS guideline, ISO 45001, RC Requirements and Quality and Energy management system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, chemical engineering or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the technical development coatings industry is required.
• Experience in technical research and development, as well as technical problem solving.
• Demonstrated abilities in people management, influencing, and negotiation.
• Proficient in English communication and presentation skills.
