RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analyze and identify opportunities for continuous improvement and differentiated steering within the global Resins & Additives business unit, focusing on end-to-end supply chain processes across two strategic business units
  • Lead ongoing analysis of supply chain metrics for order-to-cash (OTC) and transport management to identify cost drivers, profitability opportunities, service differentiation, and cost-saving measures
  • Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) such as service performance to provide actionable insights into the OTC process
  • Leverage data analytics to pinpoint areas for improvement, drive operational excellence, and ensure effective communication of results across the organization
  • Track savings from supply chain projects and initiatives, and communicate achievements, risks, and challenges to stakeholders
  • Support coordination and preparation for collaboration with service providers
  • Coordinate knowledge-sharing initiatives and training programs to ensure ongoing support for OTC processes
  • Assist in and drive implementation of automation and digitalization measures, including AI initiatives
  • Maintain strong data integrity and compliance documentation to facilitate audits

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor or Master degree (in engineering, science, business administration, economics, supply chain management, or a related field)
  • Relevant professional experience in business management, supply chain management, operations, or project management, preferably within the chemicals industry
  • A strong action-oriented team player, highly analytical and strategic thinking, self-motivated and entrepreneurial, capable of quickly grasping new concepts, generating innovative ideas, driving change effectively and excellent organizational and communication skills
  • In-depth expertise in the following E2E supply chain processes: order-to-cash, transport management, and digitalization in SC operations and controlling
  • Trained in APICS, Lean Six Sigma preferred and advanced expertise in at least one of the following technologies e.g., SAP R/3, SAP S4 HANA, Microsoft Power Platform, Azure Data Analytics, Robotic Process Automation, Process Mining, Big-data, and Artificial Intelligence (AI)
  • Strong project management and presentation skills
  • Advanced/Upper-intermediate English and German
