To collect Color information from Auto-MFR and develop color formulation as per Glosar guidelines.
Maintain and Manage Global Color data with all local color related information and developed formulae.
Implementation of Safety, Health and environmental policy and objectives in the routine activities of the Color Lab.

Main Tasks

To Formulate Color formulations with BASF paint brands like Glasurit, R-M, Norbin & Baslac as per Global marketing requirement.
Develop formulations in synchronized paint line and modify existing formulations for reproducibility at customer end.
Maintain calibration reports of all the instruments of Refinish lab.
Customer Visits – Attend customer queries and perform Field Check activities.
Update Color formulation in Global colour matching software.
Provide Support in RC documentation of the lab.
Implement Standard Operating ISO/TS procedures in Lab.
Implementation of 5S of the laboratory.
Implementation of Safety, Health and environmental policy and objectives in the routine activities of the Color laboratory.

Minimum Education and Qualification Required for the Position

Education: Science / Engineer Graduate (Chemistry stream)
Working Experience (min required exp.): 2-3 years
Technical & Professional Knowledge: Basic Chemistry knowledge related to paints. Color Physics knowledge. IT Technical / soft skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
