Area:

The Digital Factory supports the Agricultural Solutions (AP) division in the development of cutting-edge solutions. Our mission is to help farmers increase crop productivity and profitability while reducing environmental impact. To date, two areas are represented in the Montevideo HUB: Solutions Delivery - designs technology solutions tailored to the specific needs of the agricultural sector; and AgroStart - is an agricultural innovation program that addresses specific needs within the organization. We accelerate development and work with technology startups to co-create solutions.

Main Objective
The main objective of the Agility Master position is to act as a facilitator of agile methodologies, being part of the Agile Development Operations team and implementing its framework at the organizational level. The role is expected to provide consulting to internal teams, facilitate training sessions, and develop the necessary resources for them.

Tasks

  • Ensure that the Agile Development Operations framework is properly understood and implemented within the organization.
  • Identify and remove obstacles or impediments that hinder the team’s progress, adopting a servantleadership approach by supporting team needs and fostering a collaborative and productive environment.
  • Provide guidance and coaching to the team and stakeholders to help them understand and adopt agile principles, practices, and organizational work standards, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with the team to continue evolving standard work process models, implementing improvements and addressing impediments.
  • Mediate conflicts and facilitate open communication, promoting constructive discussions to resolve issues, and communicating progress and challenges to stakeholders.
  • Ensure alignment between the team’s work and the organization’s goals and priorities, identifying and addressing risks and dependencies that may affect the team’s ability to deliver value.
  • Foster a sense of belonging and autonomy within the team, encouraging them to make decisions and take responsibility for their work.

Requirements

  • Education: University degree, such as a Bachelor’s in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or another related field.
  • Working Experience:
    • 3-5 years of experience working within digital teams and roles.
    • 3-5 years of experience in internal and external stakeholders.
    • 3–5 years of experience coordinating teams within agile organizations.
    • 3–5 years of project management experience.
  • Language skills: Advanced level in English.
  • Technical skills:
    • Advanced knowledge of problemsolving and rootcause analysis
    • Advanced knowledge of Agile Backlog management
    • Advanced skills and knowledge of agile methodologies
    • Advanced facilitation and moderation skills
    • Advanced knowledge of coaching and consulting methods
    • Intermediate knowledge of process management and improvement
    • Scrum Master certification (Valued)
  • Soft skills:
    • Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities
    • Advanced skills in building relationships and trust with stakeholders
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills
    • Intermediate negotiation skills
