Main Tasks:
- As Quality Manager, lead the quality team and oversee the following topics, provide solutions and ensure customer/stakeholders satisfaction
- Quality Control
• Develop, establish and update quality policies and standard procedures
• Uphold Quality Control standards of raw materials, intermediates and finished products manufactured and 3rd party materials released under responsibility to ensure consistency against quality standards and internal/external specifications incl. maintenance of equipment/instruments and their calibrations.
• Monitor quality control results and make appropriate recommendations to Production and other stakeholders.
- Quality Assurance
• Be responsible and lead team for investigation of internal/external Non-Conformance such as customer complaints, raw materials deviations and out of spec. batches (OOS) etc. Develop corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to see the best solution for all stakeholders.
• Foster an environment where issues such as non-conformance or deviations are addressed constructively, with emphasis on shared learning and sustainable solutions.
• Establish/update scheme for Quality related Management of Change (Q-MOC) at the site to make sure execution of appropriate Quality Risk Management measures
- Quality Management
• Lead the site’s commitment to implement, execute practices required by QMS/EMS and maintaining key certifications, e.g ISO9001/14001, RSPO, EFfCI-GMP, Halal, SMETA etc.
• Build collaborative relationships with auditors and internal partners to ensure smooth, transparent audit processes and continuous system improvement
- EHS
• Responsible to establish & the execution of practices required by BASF RC system in Quality team and accountable for site EHS management as part of site management team, such as Safety Trainings, Safety Risk Assessment, MOC, Emergency Measures, Security Management etc.
• People and Topic Management
• Manage people topics of the Quality Team including headcount, workload, succession planning, target setting and performance appraisal of the team members.
• Develop team members via coaching and provide on-the-job training opportunities, in-house and/or external training programs to acquire business, leadership, quality and professional skills etc.
• Develop methods and guidance to improve team results and foster a growing mindset of the team
• Manage budget, cost and service level of the Quality Team and develop efficiency measures.
• Perform other duties or projects assigned by the supervisor.


Requirements:
- Education: PhD or Master in chemistry
- Working Experience: min 8 years Lab Management Experience in international chemical industry
- Technical & Professional Knowledge: Analytical Chemistry, GMP experience preferred
