Objectives:
- To implement strategic plans for the product portfolio in Asia, and support business growth by delivering value in alignment with regional targets and strategies.
- Maximize margin and utilization of assets by identifying business opportunities in collaboration with Sales and Marketing teams.

Main Tasks:
- Maximize utilization of the assets by identifying business potential together with Sales, Industry marketing
- Serve as the main point of contact for coordinating tolling operations, collaborating with planning and procurement functions on sourcing of critical raw materials.
- Price management: define right price limits, considering competitive environment and value proposition, and approve below limit prices
- Margin Management: Maximize margin by minimizing variable cost and by defined optimal pricing guidelines.
- Shortage Management: Allocate volumes per channel in times of shortages based on defined criteria
- Product portfolio management: in collaboration with Industry Marketing, take decisions on portfolio streamlining and extensions
- Market Intelligence: Benchmarking & competitor monitoring in order to continuously improve product portfolio & services as well as production footprint


Job Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Chemistry or relevant discipline
- Working experience: Minimum 6 years in Marketing, Sales or related function

Technical & professional knowledge:
- Good understanding of BASF products and related applications
- Experience on business or site operation is preferred
- Sound communication and presentation skills
