Key Account Manager -TPU Footwear and CEU

*Objectives of the Position
-The objective of this role is to serve as the Key account manager, responsible for footwear and CEU business (volume, gross margin and market share) along the Value Chain in Asia Pacific, including hunting strategy with implementation, engaging with the FSL brands and Tiers, CEU key customers and molders identify potential projects and acquiring new MCS approvals. Establish relationships with key Korean shoe factories (TK/CS etc) and drive TPU business growth.
*Main Areas of Responsibilities
1.Nike
-Nike Korea Value Chain hunting strategy in Asia Pacific
-Collaborate with the Nike Korea team to explore new TPU projects, scout potential MCS from Nike, and develop an account engagement plan for business expansion.
-Promote sustainable materials, generate new projects in partnership with the Nike Korea team, and execute top-down initiatives from WHQ (e.g., BMB TPU or recycled TPU projects).
-Partner closely with the Nike Asia accounts core team (GKAM, RKAM, and local account managers in key countries) to drive TPU business growth within the Korean value chain and contribute to Nike's OP objectives.
-Build relationships with key Korean T1s/T2s in Asia for Nike (e.g., TK/CS), gain deep insights into TPU demand from Nike, support local sales to gain projects/business in key countries and develop business growth strategies.
2.Other Korean footwear customers
-Manages and oversee the TPU Korean footwear customer in Asia, focusing on building relationships with customer HQ in Korea to devise engagement plans and explore new business opportunities.
-Collaborates with local sales teams to foster business growth in their respective production countries by maintaining relationships with customer HQ in Korea.
-Monitors market trends, engages with customers, and understands our customers' sustainability objectives concerning footwear.
3.Samsung
-Samsung Value Chain hunting strategy in Asia Pacific
-Collaborate with regional marketing team and the Samsung Korea team to explore new TPU projects, scout potential in wearable and portable devices and other CEU target applications and develop an account engagement plan for business expansion.
4.Other Korean CEU customers
-Manages and oversee the TPU Korean CEU customer in Asia, focusing on building relationships with customer HQ in Korea to devise engagement plans and explore new business opportunities.
-Collaborates with local sales teams to foster business growth in their respective production countries by maintaining relationships with customer HQ in Korea.
-Tracks market trends, interacts with clients, and comprehends the development goals that customers have within the industry.
5.Innovation & Project Pipeline
-Provide market insights and help steer the applications innovation pipeline to ensure that the correct market solutions are developed.
-Initiate innovation projects to secure growth, creates business case & provide prioritization.
-Manage and ensure execution of business pipeline.
*Education
-Degree or above in Chemistry (preferred), Chemical engineering, Business Administration or other related subjects.
*Working Experience
-5 - 8 years Sales and / or Marketing and / or Product Development experience, prefer footwear industry experience
-Profound knowledge & background working within footwear value chain focusing material development or T1/T2 manufacturing or product development at T1/T2
-Good knowledge and experience in Thermal Polyurethanes
-Key account management skills are preferred.
-Effective communication skills in English and Korean
-High proficiency in Salesforce.com and Microsoft Office tools
