The Logistics Specialist will be responsible for the safe, compliant, and cost‑effective execution of all site logistics activities, including domestic and international shipping and receiving across bulk, packaged, rail, export, and waste operations. This role coordinates carriers and warehouse resources, manages orders and deliveries, ensures customer and regulatory requirements are met, and completes all required SAP transactions and shipping documentation while maintaining daily communication with internal and external stakeholders.

- Coordinating inbound logistics for packaged and bulk raw materials, including receiving, verification, storage, and scheduling.
- Managing outbound shipments for packaged products and bulk materials, ensuring accurate documentation and on-time dispatch.
- Supporting bulk, rail, and waste operations by scheduling, tracking shipments, resolving issues, and coordinating outbound waste needs.
- Overseeing warehouse and yard operations, including space management, staging, trailer availability, positioning, and safe yard flow.
- Maintaining inventory accuracy through regular counts, discrepancy investigation, nonconformance (NCM) filing, and corrective actions.
- Scheduling shipping and receiving appointments while coordinating with carriers and internal stakeholders.
- Providing direct support for month-end close activities for logistics and operations, as well as ongoing supply chain improvement initiatives.
- Supporting global SAP plant projects by applying SAP logistics expertise and process-driven problem-solving.
If you...
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Possess a minimum of four years of experience in manufacturing, logistics, or supply chain operations.
- Demonstrate strong leadership capabilities with the ability to influence, motivate, and build trust across teams.
- Exhibit a strong commitment to safety, proactively identifying and addressing unsafe conditions and following proper procedures.
- Maintain effective oral communication skills, including clear, persuasive communication, active listening, and group presentation abilities.
- Show strong written communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear documentation and interpret numerical and written information.
- Uphold high ethical standards, acting with integrity, professionalism, and respect while supporting organizational values.
- Apply strong planning and organizational skills to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and coordinate resources and schedules.
