As a Temporary Quality Control Analyst you will be responsible for performing analysis of raw materials, in process controls, stability and final products of pharmaceutical and dietary ingredients whilst following cGMP procedures.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
Based at our site in Breasclete on the Isle of Lewis, as a Quality Control Analyst your responsibilities will include:
- Perform a range of analysis.
- Responsible for accurate collation of analytical data (internal and external); Reporting and checking of data in a timely manner; working to manufacturing, shipping and stability schedules.
- Raise initial laboratory investigations (ILI) wherever appropriate and notify QC Supervision promptly. Participate in root cause investigations and raise and/or participate in QC related activities to support deviations, change controls and CAPA in allocated time and actively support the resolution of quality issues.
- Calibration and maintenance of basic labware; inspection and regulation of QC glassware. Dispatch of samples for external analysis as required.
WHAT YOU OFFER
- SCQF Level 9 in Chemistry / Science related subject is desireable or minimum 2 years laboratory experience in cGMP environment
- Working knowledge of cGMP
- Knowledge of Gas chromatography (GC) and High-Performance Liquid chromatography (HPLC) is desirable.
