- Be responsible for ensuring compliance with respect to BASF’s license to operate in your area of responsibility(ies). Compliance, in accordance with the BASF Code of Conduct means adherence to: (1) applicable laws and regulations, (2) internal guidelines and policies, and (3) ethical business practices. You will keep the Managing Director informed of any and all matters concerning or impacting Compliance from time to time.
- To lead the engineering projects and maintenance team for all the maintenance and projects related activities.
- To Lead Site CAPEX, OPEX, MOC projects as project manager.
- To lead the operation of utilities for continuous supply of thermic fluid, nitrogen, compressed air, DM water etc.
- To develop, implement and sustain Preventive maintenance, predictive and breakdown maintenance of all equipment in the plant.
- To maintain the stock of critical spares of all the critical equipment.
- To prepare annual maintenance budget and ensuring expensed within the budget value.
- To develop & implement Annual maintenance budgeting and planning.
- To comply RC management system safety standards.
- Proper maintenance of all norms as per the departmental operating procedures of ISO 9001, IATF, ISO 14001 and RC requirements.
- To develop team’s individual development plan and trainings.
- Co-ordination with various departments like production, warehouse, laboratories, site engineering, procurement, controlling, HR etc.
- Developing vendors in coordination with procurement department.
- Developing and implementing quality management system for all the contractor fabrication works
- Overall reduction of maintenance expensed by following and implementing best maintenance practices.
- Adherence to the PPE usage of the plant personnel and work permit system is properly followed.
